Meg Ward

Meg has spent the past few years carving out a distinct space for herself in the electronic music scene across the UK and beyond. Her sought-after sets are characterised by an infusion of boundless energy and genuine love for music.

With an innate appreciation for a wide spectrum of electronic music genres, Meg has honed her unique sound, that seeks to evoke emotions through driving basslines and synth-rich compositions. This musical individuality has earned her significant acclaim, backed by industry heavyweights such as HAAi and Solomun, plus a tonne of radio support from Jaguar, Tom Ravenscroft, Danny Howard and others.

Although still in the early stages of her career, Meg has already left a significant mark on the music industry. Notable releases on the UK label Needwant include Melbourne Street and Last all Night, which showcase her own vocals and house-centric side. Her release Real Hawt on cult favourite imprint Shall Not Fade plus her single Have Ur Love show a faster, more club-focussed side of Meg; the latter being played in BEIGEs Detroit Boiler Room back in November 23. At the other end of the spectrum, her lighter, melodic releases such as Disappear and Connections have had great successes, with Connections being featured on the EA Sports WRC game soundtrack. These accomplishments underscore Megs rising influence in the industry, positioning her as a notable figure in the evolving landscape of underground electronic music.

Megs presence on stage is nothing short of a spectacle: she brings a perfect amalgamation of high-octane energy and infectious personality to every performance. Her journey has taken her to some of the most illustrious stages in the UK and beyond, including iconic UK festivals Glastonbury and Creamfields, Warehouse Project and London legacy venue Printworks. Shes also played in international spots Amnesia and DC10 in Ibiza, plus Le Mazette (Paris) and Snowbombing (Austria).

What truly distinguishes Meg from the rest, and what drives her every day, is her commitment to championing the authenticity and freedom that dance music can bring. It isnt about simply playing music. Its about creating an inclusive, collaborative space for people to express themselves fully. Her artistry revolves around making people feel extraordinary, whether its embarking on an emotive journey in a club or getting lost within her meticulously crafted productions.

With each body of work, Meg leaves an enduring impression. Her deep-seated desire to connect with others and promote the transformative power of sound solidifies her status as a rising star with the ability to help shape the future of electronic music.
