GIGEE
Creative force GIGEE is riding high, cutting through as one of the most exciting fresh producers right now. The Polish-born, Paris-based producers 2019 debut Reborn Pulse EP on Berlin based label Katermukke put her firmly in the spotlight, charting high in Beatports Melodic House & Techno top 100 within days, and singled out for supportby Sven Vath. She followed that up by also joining and becoming an exciting new name on Ralf Kollman and Anja Schneiders Mobilee roster with her Lullaby EP.She had honed her skills ghost-writing for other producers but was now putting her name out there and gaining her rightful place in the electronic scene.
A Self-taught producer, she has a fresh take on techno, blending elements such as progressive and melodic house and techno but typically rejecting formula and rulebook. Crossing genres not only in music but in fields of interest such as fashion or philanthropy, she works simultaneously on multiple ideas in a perfect creative storm. A longtime fanof classical music, shes also in the past worked on a classical/electronic interface project among other new music which inspires her.
Growing up she was always a geek with the best playlist and CDs. For early influences she cites Paul Kalkbrenner, after exploring electro house, Brodinski, Boys Noize...and the dramatic passion of classical music. Her DJ days started during a gap yearin Paris; already a music head, she collaborated with music collectives and playedat the famous Batofar Club, before choosing music as a profession. Shes had much involvement in her past with reputable music tech startups, including Sillicon Valley visits, resulting in her selling her first app at the tender age of 21 etc. Shes an avid sports fanatic too with a big focus on the tennis circuit and also across her huge football passion, mostly for her beloved Manchester United.
Most recently though music has been her focus and her "BERLIN EP peaked as #3in top10 release charts in Germany, #7 in Spain, also jumping into Mobilee's all time bestselling release. She received support from BBC Radio 1 hosts Pete Tong and Sarah Story, and gained huge support from a number of esteemed artists like David Guetta, ARTBAT, and Joris Voorn.
2022 has seen her showcase her skills at some of the worlds standout stages, make her North American tour debut, tour Germany often at big events at the likes of RitterButzke & TanzHaus West (Frankfurt), KitKat Berlin, Fusion Club, Kanello Galore Munster, 45Hertz Hamburg, Odonien Cologne & many more.
GIGEE is a much talked about and talented artist, and 2023 promises to be the year where we see her climb ever further to the upper echelons of electronic music.
